Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) technology
Electric vehicles feature motor efficiency of up to 96%, quiet operation, zero harmful emissions or greenhouse gases while driving, and require minimal additional maintenance. Even though the technology is advanced, you’ll find owning an electric vehicle is simple.

Climatronic including driver-only “Eco” mode
Both driver and passenger can set the temperature for their side of the cabin. When your passenger leaves the vehicle (or if you don’t have a passenger to begin with) their temperature zone is disabled – saving you energy without lifting a finger. It’s just one of the many ways the e-Golf works to take you farther while using less.

e-Manager
Getting into a toasty car on a cold morning feels good and saves energy. Rather than use the battery to warm up your cabin while you drive, simply set the e-Manager to when you’re planning to depart and a desired temperature, and your car will heat up while you’re still connected to the grid.

Heat pump & heated windshield
Whether it’s our automatic, humidity controlled, heated windshield that rapidly defogs and thaws without using the blower/fan, or our heat pump that takes surrounding air and waste heat from the drivetrain and filters it for the cabin, we’ve made sure every e-Golf is ready for whatever weather Canada brings.
