New with the 2023 model, the ID.4 takes style to the next level both inside and out, with a new glossy front bumper, new exterior colours, and a redesigned centre console.

Plus, with the optional Statement Package, the style goes up a level. With Premium LED projector headlights, a lighted rear VW logo, and 30 colour options for interior ambient lighting—this is the kind of all-electric style that commands attention.

The 2023 ID.4 now comes with an additional trim with a 62kWh battery and rear-wheel drive. Whether you go with that option or the 82kWh battery, you can always customize the ID.4 to your liking.

The ID.4 currently qualifies for the federal iZEV rebate of $5,000. Depending on the province in which you live, you may be eligible to receive additional incentives. These include, but are not limited, to $4,000* from British Columbia’s Go Electric BC Program or as much as $7,000 from Quebec’s Roulez Vert program. The Roulez Vert program also offers an additional rebate of $600 with the purchase and installation of Electrify Canada’s HomeStation™. That makes owning and driving an EV even more affordable and one step closer to our vision of Electric for Everyone.

While the acceleration is much quieter than a combustion engine, we can’t promise you won’t break the silence with a few oohs and aahs. Especially as you experience going from zero to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds[2] with available AWD.

Range anxiety simply isn’t a thing with ID.4. On the road, you can charge 10% to 80% in an estimated 30 minutes. That means a 10-minute charge can add almost 100 km of range on a DC fast-charger. At home with the available Electrify Canada HomeStation™, it can take as little as 7.5 hours to reach full charge on a level 2 residential charger. So just plug in your ID.4 at bedtime, then wake up in the morning ready to go.

The electric-powered ID.4 comes with some serious towing power. With a towing capacity of 2,700 lbs for AWD (braked), feel confident it’ll pull what you need, like a small travel trailer for all your camping adventures.

Did we mention that when you get All-Wheel Drive in your ID.4, you’ll get a standard hitch mount for towing as well? Another reason the ID.4 was built to tow.

As one of the first affordable, all-electric SUVs with available All-Wheel Drive, the ID.4 was made to break new ground. A second electric motor added to its front gives you that extra bit of kick* and traction that’ll show any terrain that electric is the new king.

With the ID.4, VW has returned to its roots with an electric motor at the rear of the vehicle, just like the original Beetle. With power now being directed to the rear, that leaves the front wheels dedicated to steering giving you the perfect combination of confidence and traction. Rear-wheel drive is available with both the 62kWh and 82kWh electric motor options.

An electric SUV like the ID.4 needs wheels that are as impressive as its frame. Thankfully the ID.4 comes standard with 19” Drammen wheels that maximize its capabilities. Or you can upgrade to 20” wheels to make a bigger statement on the road.

With the ID.4, you’ll get light and then some. An available illuminated light bar stretches between the front headlights, and is paired with a glowing front Volkswagen logo. Plus, with the available lighted rear Volkswagen logo, it's guaranteed that every passerby will be saying, “Look, an ID.4!”
